Waunakee Community School District

Prior to hiring Findorff, Waunakee had an unsuccessful referendum. Findorff, along with the architect, were engaged by the District to take a fresh look at district-wide needs, finalize a new project scope, and bring a solution to the community. The team listened to stakeholders to understand their needs and created a new plan. As a result, the $44.8 million referendum was successful by a significant margin in November 2014.
Almost two years later, the project team completed various building projects to support the District’s significant growth and current educational programming. Construction was completed in 2016 with the following scope:
- New Waunakee Intermediate School
- Heritage Elementary School Renovation
- Prairie Elementary School Addition and Renovation
