University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee
Completing a long-anticipated upgrade to the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee’s main campus, Findorff will transform the university’s student union, which normally sees around 22,000 visitors a day. Improvements will include upgrading the building’s mechanical, electrical, and alarm systems, as well as restoring and cleaning the exterior. As part of the exterior improvements, Findorff will replace the canopies at the entrances on Kenwood Avenue and Spaights Plaza.
Additionally, interior improvements will include adding windows and opening the atrium inside to bring in more natural light. The renovation will also create easier-to-navigate passageways throughout the building.
