Milwaukee, WI
The Commons is Marquette University’s new, $108 million state-of-the-art, 292,000 square foot, nine- and 12-story conjoined co-ed residence hall facility. The first new residence hall built on campus in 50 years, The Commons provides a welcoming and comfortable “home away from home” for Marquette’s first and second-year students.
The Commons includes two towers made up of single and double rooms that connect to create a neighborhood feel. Joined by a 650-seat dining and community space, The Commons features modern, sought-after amenities, sustainable building features and practices, and was completed for the 2018-19 school year. The Commons is a landmark capital project for the University, LEED® Silver Certified, and has quickly become a hub of activity for students, faculty and staff alike.
