Madison Central Library

Madison, WI

The new Madison Central Library has much more to offer than solely books. Located a few blocks from Wisconsin’s Capitol, this state-of-the art facility is approximately 120,000 square feet. Its new size is almost 20% larger than its original structure with twice as much public space available. This was primarily achieved through the building’s vertical expansion.

Noteworthy features of the building include:

  • 20 new conference rooms
  • Sedum-covered green roof complete with solar panels
  • New art gallery
  • LEED® Gold Certification
  • Specially designed children and teen spaces
