Eurofins’ new state-of-the-art food testing laboratory and corporate office houses lab spaces such as chemistry, metrology, and microbiology labs and will be the flagship food testing lab for international companies. The project included 108,000 square feet of new construction with a cost-effective core and shell, structural-steel frame, exterior metal stud framing and architectural precast. The new building also includes support spaces, as well as receiving, processing and warehouse facilities. Upon the client’s request, Findorff established a design/assist approach that best met the project’s budget and schedule. The project scope included the following:

  • 60,000+ square feet of lab space
  • 34 offices and 127+ cube spaces
  • Kitchen space and wellness room
  • Three loading docks with a conveyor system for sample processing
  • 750 KW generator
  • 34+ person training room
  • Relocated five large walk-in stability chambers
  • Prefab exterior framing and sheathing panels
  • 408 KWDC roof solar array
  • Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP, Lean Lab Design, ISO 17025)
