NORD Gear is a manufacturer of AC drives, gearboxes, electric motors, and AC vector drives. It has 35 assembly factories worldwide with sales and support in more than 60 countries. Findorff was hired to expand its North American headquarters located in Waunakee, Wis. The multi-phased project was completed without interruption to NORD Gear’s ongoing daily operations.
Findorff completed a 60,000-square-foot expansion of its manufacturing space, which allowed for increased rotor production capabilities and brought its machining department up-to-date to meet industry standards. In addition, Findorff constructed new locker rooms, a break room, and training room to double NORD Gear’s existing capacity.
