Findorff proudly worked on Oregon School District’s successful referendum. Efforts included extensive research into the needs through physical evaluations, staff workshops, School Board discussions, and community-focus groups related to visioning and solution development. Construction work from the District’s 2014 referendum includes:

The project included 26,000 square feet of school-wide additions and renovations to update various spaces and improve safety throughout the elementary school. Specific areas of improvement included:

  • Addition and renovation of cafeteria, office with secure entry, and two kindergarten classrooms
  • Relocate music and orchestra space
  • Site improvements to include an expanded parking lot, storm water management and safety

Various small renovations as part of the District’s overall improvement projects to increase the quality and safety of the school. Work included the following:

  • Site safety improvements
  • Outdoor classroom and plaza area
  • Replacement of original heating systems

As part of the District’s overall improvement plan, significant addition and renovation work is currently underway at the high school. Work includes about 168,000 square feet of improvements which include the following:

  • New secured main entrance and main office
  • Geothermal mechanical system
  • PE/Athletic addition, which includes a competition gymnasium, athletic locker rooms, fitness and performance space, and weight/cardio equipment area
  • Two-story academic addition includes additional classroom space, public and semi-public collaboration areas
  • Renovations include an expanded cafeteria and servery, student services offices, locker rooms, STEAM classrooms, and student collaboration areas
  • Additional renovations include a new science lab, four instructional classrooms, a new media center in the library, and flexible learning spaces

Approximately 32,000 square feet of additions and interior renovations were completed. The Middle School’s 1,100-square-foot kitchen required several upgrades to convert its existing single service line into three servings lines. Work included the following:

  • New office and visitor entrance to improve safety and security
  • Addition to include two offices, two reception work stations, a health/nurse room, STEAM space, and band/music areas

Several renovations were completed in August 2015 for the Prairie View Elementary School. Totaling 1,850 square feet, the project’s scope involved the following:

  • Remodeling the school’s main entrance to include a new secure vestibule
  • Replacement of old locker rooms for new corridors
  • Constructing a new conference and work room
  • New outdoor classroom and plaza area
  • Replacement of original heating systems
