Middleton High School Performing Arts Center

Middleton, WI

In October 2003, Findorff completed a $28 million expansion project for Middleton High School. The project involved the design and construction of four separate additions that were seamlessly blended into the existing structure.

Notable features of the facility include a new, state-of-the-art Performing Arts Center featuring a 900-seat auditorium, full fly loft and full orchestra shell. Other single-story and multi-level additions for the school’s art labs, science labs and cafeteria commons rounded out the scope of the project.

In addition, Findorff worked closely with school administrators to devise a schedule that allowed regular school activities to occur without disruption. In situations where some overlap was inevitable, Findorff seized the opportunity to educate students by providing informative tours of the project under construction.
