Don & Marilyn Anderson Hospice

Fitchburg, WI

This elegant, residential-style building is located on a tranquil wooded site in Fitchburg. The center consists of a steel and wood frame with a brick veneer and exterior vinyl siding and includes 30,000 square feet of administrative offices and support on two floors.

This space serves as the nerve center for the entire HospiceCare program, which cares for an average of 150 patients a day in their own homes throughout the Madison and Janesville areas. One hundred professional staff members and 400 volunteers provide these services.

The one-story, 20,000 square foot unit includes 18 inpatient rooms, each opening onto a private patio. Two of the rooms are double occupancy, allowing couples to stay together when both the husband and wife require medical care.

Additionally, Findorff completed construction of another Hospice Care center, the Ellen and Peter Johnson HospiceCare Residence, located adjacent to the Don & Marilyn Anderson Hospice a few years later.
