Columbia County Buildings
Located in Portage, Wis., the Columbia County Buildings project includes the construction of two new buildings, totaling about 99,400 square feet. The first, a three-story brick building, will house the new Health and Human Services, followed by a four-story Administration building. The Health and Human Services Building will be adjacent to the County’s jail site.
Additionally, the existing Courthouse will undergo an extensive remodel. The current Columbia County Administration Building/Courthouse totals approximately 61,000 square feet. The County intends to relocate all non-court related County Departments to the new County Administration Building and remodel the existing Courthouse to meet current courthouse security, and functionality and accessibility standards.
