33 East Main Office Building

Madison, WI

The 33 E. Main project marks the final completion of the major Block 89 redevelopment in the heart of downtown Madison. Located directly across from the Capitol Square, this 141,000 square-foot facility features nine stories of commercial office space.

The building is a post-tensioned concrete structure with 10″ thick slabs. The exterior of the building is a combination of butt-glazed curtainwall, aluminum shapes and Minnesota limestone. The curtainwall system is unique, in that there are numerous glass projections and stone “fins”. The building also has roof terraces and balconies at five different levels.

Findorff not only provided general contracting services to Urban Land Interests for the building’s core and shell, but also constructed new work spaces for tenant such as Quarles & Brady, Murphy Desmond and Park Bank.
