25 West Main Street
This extensive redevelopment project includes the renovation and expansion of the existing Old National Bank (formerly known as AnchorBank) office building located on Madison’s Capitol Square. Work includes the demolition of an above grade parking structure, the construction of a five level underground parking structure beneath Carroll Street, and converting the aging building into 207,000 square feet of Class A office space with 32,000 square feet of retail space, landscaped roof terraces, and a modern glass façade. The mixed-use space will include eight levels of 88 high-end apartments, called The Princeton, and 6,700 rentable square feet of ground floor restaurant space.
By moving the parking structure underground, it will unlock the potential for increased street level retail, restaurants and add vitality to an important corner of Madison’s Capitol Square. The new 190,000-square-foot underground parking garage is almost doubling the size of the old above ground AnchorBank parking garage (just over 100,000 square feet) and will contain 538 parking stalls.
